Phyllis Hall Obituary

Hall, Phyllis H. Passed away peacefully on May 4, 2005 in her Brentwood home at the age of 82 with her son Russell, daughter Cameron, friends and dogs at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Cameron B. Hall, MD. Born September 29, 1922 in Oxnard California to Edith W. and Russell E. Havenstrite. Educated at the Douglas School for Girls in Pebble Beach and graduated from Bennett College. In Recent years she enjoyed traveling and spending time at her home in Sun Valley, Idaho. She was an avid sportswoman all her life; an equestrian jumper and polo player; she loved skiing and fly fishing; and was a life long member of the Los Angeles Country Club where she was a golf champion and team player. Also a Dodger season ticket holder since they moved to LA. Phyllis was a founding member of the Boards of Regents and a lifetime Trustee of Saint John's. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the Saint John's Health Center Foundation, 1328 22nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404 to the Cameron B. Hall, MD Memorial Fund. She is survived by her children Rusty and Cammie, many nieces, nephews and two brothers-in-law. Services will be private.
