KOSITCHEK, M.D., Robert J. May 30, 1913-November 23, 2009 Son of Louis and Rena Kositchek, loving husband of Annabelle who celebrated 65 wonderful years together before she preceded him in death. He practiced medicine in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles for over 54 years. He was a proud Trustee of St. John's Hospital. He was also the founder of the St. John's Retired Doctors Association. He was past President of the Beverly Hills Medical Association and a founding member of the Los Angeles Poison Center. He was involved with Cardiac Research for many years. He was a member of Hillcrest Country Club, Wilshire Boulevard Temple and the International Golf Society. He got great joy and satisfaction from his membership in the Plato Society.

He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies where he was also an outstanding athlete lettering in three sports. He then attended the Medical School from 1935 to 1939. Robert is survived by his children Ellen Pressman (Burt) and Robert Jay Kositchek, Jr. Grandchildren Andrea Cohen (Greg), Jeffrey K. Pressman (Jill) and Michelle Abrams (Ethan); great-grandchildren Max and Jake Cohen, Keegan and Piper Abrams and Amanda Pressman.
