He leaves to cherish his memories his parents Jordan Clayton & Emma Johnson, his sisters Cynthia & Adrienne Clayton, his children that he loved immensley. Marcus, Monesha, Brittany, Marquis, Janelle, Ashley, Jordan & Andre Clayton..Four Grandchildren Jasmine, Savannah, Malach, & Marquis Jr.
After Uncle Jamms Army Faded in the 80's Rodger Owned & operated a family business DJ'S Records while continuing to promote concerts. His love for music & savvy business skills made him a force in the music industry.

Rodger, most people knew of your talents on the turntables but I knew the personal side of you. You were ALWAYS like a big brother to me and always treated me like a little sister. I looked up to you and admired the man you became. You are sorely missed by your children and grandchildren however, your legacy lives on through them. I will always remember how kind you were to me even as a young teen-ager. You took time with me and for that I am thankful. I miss you!

Rodger will always hold a special place in my heart and memory. We were friends for over 30 years and had so many good times together. Thank you Roger for being an integral creator and champion of the Los Angeles music scene. Your rich legacy will never be forgotten. I only talked to you twice, but your recollections of the early 80s L.A. hip-hip scene are still locked in my memory banks. I still jam out to your music and still find the sounds so amazing.

God Bless the entire family at ths difficult time.
I have known Rodger for some time and he always treated me like family. This past year, I saw him probably more than the last 20 years but I am glad for that.
He is at peace now and the kids will be in my prayers after all of the condolences are gone.
