I had the great pleasure of knowing Dr. Decker, who I affectionately call Doc. My father and I had the great honor of assisting him with his struggle with chronic pain. I always looked forward to seeing him and made a special effort to accommodate him whenever he called for an appointment. We would frequently discuss golf and our ups and downs with the game. We also talked about our families. He was always interested in how my son Paul was doing in medical school and would inquire often about his progress. Doc was always willing to shoot the breeze even on those days of disabling pain. I hope we made his fight with pain bearable . I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience his humor, compassion, and strength. He is one of very few patients who has effected me in this way. I only wished I could have played golf with him. He truly will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family. Mark Robb

Dearest Lynn.....We all loved Ron and especially me because we had three things in common. 1. Tennis, 2. Golf & 3. Al Jolson (whom we would sing about on the golf course) He will be missed by me and our crowd. Maurice Sutton

Ron was a wonderful gentle man who was always there when you needed advice or just an ear. He will be missed by me and his neighbors. May he spend eternity hitting them straight down heavens fairways. My best to Lynn and his family.
