Sharon Scott Baker was born in Burbank, CA, on 9/3/24 and passed away suddenly in Paradise, CA, on 6/22/13. He lived a full, adventurous life and leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, sons Scott and Ron, stepson Dennis and their families, brothers Don and Ardell and their families, plus 2 grandchildren Allison and Christopher, 2 step grandchildren Kimberly and Michael, 2 great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, and many others in his extended family. Sharon also leaves a legacy of passion and devotion to the few great loves of his life: his family, his service to country (a proud veteran of WWII, serving as a flight and gunnery instructor in the Army Air Corps), and automobile racing, in which he participated as both a driver and mechanic. Sharon worked at Parker Hannifin, retiring early to travel the country with his wife Elizabeth in a motor home for 15 years, until settling down again in San Marcos, CA. Sharon was a gifted mechanic and a born tinkerer who could fix practically anything. He was valued for many things, but will be remembered most for his loving heart and independent spirit.
At Sharon's request, no service is planned.
