November 17, 1954 - March 26, 2014 Beloved husband, World Class birder and Emmy award winning producer, Tim passed away suddenly on 3/26/14. He is survived by his bride, Elaine of Burbank, brother Michael & spouse, Teresa of Simi Valley, and his sister Mary and spouse, Larry of Long Beach. Tim is also survived by his Aunt Marilyn of Sunland, CA. Tim was born and raised in Southern California and was the son of James & Dolores, both of whom preceded him in death. Esteemed by fellow birders for his dogged pursuits around the world, he was also cherished by his in-laws and greatly valued by those who knew him for his wise and sensible consul. His "currency" was his word and he could always be relied upon regardless of the situation. His generosity is a matter of record, his devotion to Notre Dame football unrivaled, and his love for his family & friends lasting and deep. For more than 2 decades Tim served as Production Manager for NBC & NBC Sports and his expertise included the 1988 Olympics in South Korea, NFL broadcasts and the daytime dramas SANTA BARBARA & DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Upon leaving NBC in 1999 his producing career began shortly after joining PASSIONS. In 2008 he returned to DAYS as a Coordinating Producer and was awarded an Emmy in 2013. Tim retired last year. A Catholic Funeral Mass will take place at St. Charles of Borromeo, in North Hollywood, CA on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM. There will be no interment.
