November 14, 1923 - June 10, 2011
William John Kresich was born on November 14, 1923 to John & Anna Kresich & sister Donna. He died June 10, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Renate, son John (Peggy), daughter Carmen (Jeb) and 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachael, Nicole and Jack. He was preceded in death by his son Geoffrey. He graduated from LA High School and attended college at Lake Forest, IL, UCSB and USC where he graduated & was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII, personal highlight protecting our coast from Santa Monica to Malibu. Subsequently, Bill went to Europe touring on his motorcycle. He ended up spending 14 years, settling in Germany where his children were born. He returned to So. California in 1966 and spent the next 35 years in Tustin. Bill was a member of the Croatian-American Society. Dad was a man who was a non-conformist, had his own opinions, who wasn't afraid to recreate himself, improvise when necessary and enjoyed working.
