Zola Siegal Obituary

September 8, 1921 - May 21, 2014 Zola Siegal passed away at the age of 92+ years after a brief struggle with heart and kidney problems. 'Uncle Zola', as he was known to his family, was the patriarch of our family and his kindness and generosity will be missed. In his early years, Zola distinguished himself as a decorated war hero in WWII. Zola was Aircraft Commander/Squadron Leader in the 15th Air Force; Heavy Bomber Pilot (Captain) of the B-24 "Liberator" flying missions over the European Theatre of Operations. Later in life, Zola graduated from Southwestern University of Law to become an Attorney at the age of 47.
