GARCIA, Jessie T. She was born on Christmas day 85 years ago and passed away January 18, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor and friend, she will remain in our hearts, always. She graduated from Edison Jr. High and Belmont High School, Los Angeles. She took various college level classes at LACC and Berkeley extension. A leader, she was the former president, of Echo Park Unit 414, American Legion Auxiliary, local PTA president and member of the Los Angeles Coordinating Council. Her talents were many: musician, artist, dancer, cook and all around amazing and beautiful person. She lived a life of joy, humor and love. The viewing and rosary will be held, Thursday, January 24th, 7 p.m. at Mirabal Mortuary (323) 221-2652. Her Memorial Mass is Friday, January 25th, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 250 N Union Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90026. Followed by a procession to Calvary Cemetery (323) 261-3106.
