What a truly great talent you were, Mr. Jay Robinson. I would have loved to give you a hug, for each and every one of your performances on screen and on stage have given me many smiles and happiness. From your infamous Emperor Caligula to the madman Dr. Shrinker, from Star Treks Ambassador Petri to the Bewitched Julius Caesar, even as the homeless Monty Dolan or Macbeths The Porter...You were, and always will be, a precious emerald gem! At age 10, I saw the movie "The Robe" And became a lifetime fan of Jay. I finally met Jay in 2007 and we became good friends. I will miss the phone conversations and personal visits with Jay. His role as Caligula will always be the greatest in Hollywood movies.

Jay never received the acclaim from Hollywood he should have for his performance as Caligula in "The Robe" in 1953.. Should have won an academy award and have a star on Walk Of Fame
