Resident of Indian Wells passed away, March 17, 2002 at the age of 98. Mr. Debs was a former California Assemblyman, Los Angeles City Councilman and a former Los Angeles County Supervisor for the 3rd District for 24 years and was Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. He was a member of the Almalikah Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Betty Debs of Indian Wells; children, David Debs of Ojai; Candi Debs of Los Angeles, Stan Grant of Colorado, Lonnie Gordon of Malibu and Nancy Martel of Indian Wells. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 28 at the Hall of Administration, 3rd Floor Board Room, 500 W. Temple, Los Angeles.
