Dear Cousin Linda & Dick:
Please accept my apology for not attending Uncle Joe's services. Though not in person, I sent kind thoughts & pleasant memories in Spirit.
Such a kind gentleman and gentle man; Like his brother and my dad, Uncle Bennie.
Of all his wonderful attributes, I remember his fabulous sense of humor.
Uncle Joe and Aunt Betty came to our house often. I was a very young "smart-mouthed" teenager. Uncle Joe looked really sharp in a blue suit but wore a brown shirt and brown shoes. I said, "hey Uncle Joe, you sure look sharp but you never wear brown with blue". Uncle Joe smiled broadly and said, "gee Bobby, I thought I looked pretty good when I came in". He never took offence but I am sure he understood I was just a very young guy trying to find his way. I think he was ahead of his time. Look at the color combinations we have today.
Always with kind thoughts of you. Love, Cousin Bob.

What a life! What a legacy! He will be so very much missed, and was a wonderful conversationalist, and a thorough charmer through to his last days. My deepest condolences to his dear family and friends. The world is a better place having had Dr Jacobson pass through, and I feel so fortunate to have met and visited with him. A lovely tribute to a fine gentleman.
With love and appreciation for a life well-lived and well-loved.
