BORNINO, Bruno Dominic February 25, 1922 - June 2, 2010 Resident of Carlsbad, California. Bruno passed away on the morning of Tuesday June 2, 2010.
He was a veteran of World War II serving his country for three years, in the medical corps of Africa and Italy. While serving in Naples, Italy, he met his wife Anna Maria De Simone. They were married on June 27, 1945. Besides his wife of nearly 65 years, he leaves behind four children, Anna Maria Glusac, Bruno Bornino Jr., Denise Maryse Dorin, and Carla Rose Smith, and their spouses, thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Bruno is survived by two brothers, James and Joseph Bornino, and his sister Rose Montagnese as well as many other loving family members and friends. Rosary: Thursday, June 10, 2010 - 7:00 p.m. at El Camino Memorial, Encinitas Funeral Mass: Friday, June 11, 2010 - 9:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Carlsbad Interment: Friday, June 11, 2010 - 12:30 p.m. at Murrieta Cemetery, Murrieta.
