Jack C. Lee, 90, an Arcadia resident since 1950, passed away January 20, 2011. Mr. Lee was born in Los Angeles where he attended Franklin High School and UCLA. Jack served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and returned to build a thriving structural steel business. He was a long -time and highly respected businessman in the San Gabriel Valley, serving on numerous boards for church, business, and civic groups. He was active in sports his entire life, including football, squash, tennis, and particularly golf. He was an avid and accomplished golfer, playing for 34 years in the Bob Hope Classic. Jack was very dedicated to his family and friends for whom he provided great love and advice. He was an active member of the Arcadia Presbyterian Church for over half a century. Together with his beloved, departed wife Barbara, Jack encouraged the growth of Azusa Pacific University and the Fuller Seminary. Jack was revered for his judgment, loyalty, sincerity, and goodness of heart. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know him.
Jack is survived by his brother Richard (Barbara) Lee, 3 children Steven (Vanette) Lee, Kevin (Gabriela) Lee, Nancy (Tim) Thomas, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 27, at 3:00 pm at the Arcadia Presbyterian Church located at 121 Alice Street.
