Rudolph Petersdorf Obituary
January 24, 1930 - February 26, 2011
A 30-year resident of Ojai, Rudy leaves his devoted wife, Rikki Horne, beloved daughter, Barbara Horne-Petersdorf, and sons Michael and Stefan. Rudy was born in Breslau, Germany and moved to the US as a young boy, living first in NY where he became a lifelong Giants baseball fan the moment he set foot on the Polo Grounds. Rudy moved to LA with his parents and older brother, Bob, and graduated from UCLA and then Berkeley's law school, Boalt Hall. He spent his career as a business affairs executive in the entertainment industry, at Capitol Records, Desilu, Universal and Warner Bros. A loving husband and father, a treasured friend, a brilliant mind and dedicated liberal Democrat, Rudy will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross his kind, wise and good-humored path.
