We have the fondness memories of Tom and his family when our son was in the Boy Scouts. They were some very challenging mountains they were able to hike.
The greatest experience was Mount Whitney they did when they were even preteens. Our families stayed at Whitney Portals while waiting for our troops to finish their week long trip. Our son took many pictures along his trip and has a very memorable scrapbook.
Tom was an excellent leader and was able to push our boys. He knew they would be experiencing some very interesting trips. Most of the boys later earning their Eagle Scout status.
At one point he included girls in their troop to enjoy some of the same experiences. Our daughter Michele also participated with them.

Paul and I were able to see you a few months ago at the market and were glad to visit for the last time. Our scouting days go back to the last 60's. They were such wonderful experiences for all of our children. Our hearts go out to you Marilynn.
