Rothberg, Howard May 7, 1939 - January 17, 2012 After a heroic struggle that inspired everyone who knew him, Howard Rothberg died January 17, 2012 of myelodysplastic syndrome at age 72. A native of Chicago, he lived for the past 40 years in Los Angeles, where his career included being the personal manager and agent for actors and writers including Mel Brooks and Larry Gelbart. He is survived by his beloved children Alli and Daniel; his sister Arlyne, his partner Dina and ex-wife Darryle. Howard will forever be remembered with love and laughter by his family and friends.
