William KAFFER Obituary

August 18, 1929 - May 12, 2013
Born in Joliet, IL, Bill moved to Los Angeles on the day he graduated from Marquette University in 1951. He met his wife, Mary Ann in 1953 while on Christmas leave from the US Navy. They were married the following June after only 2 dates. He was blessed by successful business and spiritual lives, demonstrating a natural ability to lead in both. He ended his career through Avocado farming, where he and his family spent many days on their 50 acres. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann, children, Kit and Katy and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral mass celebrating his life at St. Catherine of Alexandria in Temecula, CA on Friday, May 24th, 2:30 PM. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery.

I had the privilege of knowing Bill in our Temecula Rotary club. When describing Bill to others, I would tell them he is Mr. Rotary. No one understood the true meaning of being a Rotarian than Bill. We miss you Bill.
