Stuart WALZER Obituary

July 12, 1924 - May 8, 2013
Stuart B. Walzer, Born: Chicago, Illinois. Parents: Leo and Frieda Walzer. He is survived by his wife Paula Silverston Walzer who he married on December 2, 1952; brothers James and Irwin Walzer; Sons: Peter and his wife Faye, David, Andrew, and Lloyd and his wife Rebecca, Grandchildren: Sarah, Graham, Emma, Hannah, Naomi, Andito, and Frieda.
He served in the US Army, 1943-1945, Private First Class, Infantry, Bronze Star Medal & Bronze Star Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster. BA UCLA, 1948. Harvard Law School, 1951. He founded the Southern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He was a Master Gardener. He led several book groups and he founded the LACBA Lawyer's Literary Society. He was partner in the firms known as Walzer, Weinstock, and Manion, Walzer & Gabrielson, and Walzer & Walzer.
Donations to the Salk Institute for Biological Studies for Alzheimer's research, Arboretum at UCSC, or AAMLFoundation. There will be a memorial service at La Mirada @ 720 La Mirada Rd., Monterey, CA between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on June 23, 2013.

Dear Paula and family,
Dave and I are so sorry to hear of Stuart's passing but know you must be immensely proud of all he did and the wonderful human being he was in his life. We hope you will find strength and comfort in the many family memories you have. Please know that our thoughts are with you.
