Walt Peregoy Obituary

November 17, 1925 - January 16, 2015 Walt Peregoy passed away at his home in Encino, on Friday January 16, 2015. He was an extraordinary, cantankerous and courageous artist, warm, generous & loving human being. Walt began his Disney career in animation, working on such classics as Sleeping Beauty and One Hundred and One Dalmatians. He joined Walt Disney Imagineering in 1977. This is where he influenced the design of several architectural elements for Journey Into Imagination and the Land Pavilions at Epcot. He was named a Disney Legend in 2008 for his contributions. Walt is survived by his stepchildren, the Peregoy family, close friends and his two precious angels Naida and Grover Tate, his faithful, loving, caretakers - Bless them. A celebration of life for those who wish to honor Walt's memory are invited to attend. Sunday, February 8, 2015 3:00 - 5:00 PM Animation Guild 1105 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA.
