Jim Thompson, back in Wisconsin
August 13, 2023
I had many centerspreads and covers in AIRPOWER and WINGS in the seventies and even into the 80's. Moved to Los Angeles and drove up to the west valley (10718 White Oak, Granada Hills) to meet Joe and put some images into his hands. Miss the magazines very much. There's nothing like it any more.

He was a wonderful man, proof of which shines on in his wonderful children (especially my dear, dear friend Mandy) & in his talented, kind & beautiful grandchildren. Raising a glass to Joe, with love, Ann
