Absolutely my favorite teacher.

Earlier this week, I came across my first-grade composite photo from Erwin Street Elementary School and took notice of Mr. Kravetz, which gave me incentive to look him up online today and discover his recent passing.
My deepest sympathies to you and Mr. Kravetz's extended family and friends. Although I was a little boy during his tenure at Erwin, I recall him as a kind man and a strong principal. His dedication to helping children grow into well-rounded men and women should never be forgotten.
God bless him and his memory. A life well lived.

May the Kravetz family be comforted by all the warm memories and may the soul of Mr. Kravetz rest in peace eternally with his beloved wife Joan. Please accept heartfelt condolences on the loss of a very good man, who served our country in WWII and also served the very important cause of Education of children. He loved his faith and LOVED his family, especially his girls.
