LAURINBURG — Mrs. Isolina Valines, 97, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Edwin Morgan Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 19 at Saint Luke United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Valines is survived by two daughters: Myrta Cox of Laurinburg and Awilda Andino and husband Manuel of Enterprise, Ala., six grandchildren: Melissa Ciarrocca (Brian) of Laurinburg, Alyson Nance (Lewis) of Fayetteville, Kevin Cox (Lisa) of Lexington, S.C., Michelle Andino of Midlothian, Va., Nicole Langford (Jeremy) of Dothan, Ala., and Manuel Andino (Maribeth) of Enterprise, Ala., and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose R. Valines, sisters Providencia and Carmen Luisa, and brother Jose Luis.
Mrs. Valines was born in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Luis Berrios and Claudina Delgado Berrios. She and her husband relocated to Laurinburg after his retirement. Mrs. Valines was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

The family will receive friends at the home of Myrta Cox and following the service at the church.
