LAURINBURG — Billie Ann Keel Tucker, 75, of Laurinburg passed away to her eternal home on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017.

Billie was born June 27, 1942 in Robeson County, daughter of the late Hermus Patrobie Keel and Agnes Cooper Keel. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for family as a homemaker. She served as a member of the Springfield Church of God. Billie had a passion for butterflies, loving their beauty, innocence and her favorite color was yellow.

She loved her family and they will forever remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnson Kelly Tucker, III and sister, Naomi Irene Perkins

Billie is survived by her husband, Johnson Kelly Tucker, Jr. of the home; sons, David Keith Tucker (Lynn) of Wagram; and daughter, Tamela T. Nesbitt of Rockingham; brother, Hermus P. Keel, Jr., of Hamlet; sister, Ruth Priest of Lumberton; and her grandchildren, Victoria Nelson, Johnson "Kelly" Tucker IV, Brandon Nisbitt, David "Keith" Tucker, Jr., Jeremy Tucker; great-grandchild, Aiden Tucker and Cody expected soon.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26 at the Springfield Church of God in Laurel Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27 at the Springfield Church of God officiated by Rev. David Shoemake and Rev. Harry Clark. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
