Cindy Marie Gibson

NASHVILLE — Cindy Marie Gibson, 58, passed away on April 22, 2016.

Born in Scotland County on Dec. 17, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Robert Addison Ingram.

Cindy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be dearly missed and cherished by all.

Cindy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 33 years Garry Gibson, son Michael Dale Kimbrell, Jr. and his wife, Jaclyn of Laurinburg and daughter Amanda Gibson Coppedge and her husband Michael "Lee" of Nashville. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Jackson and Bryant Kimbrell and Justin Coppedge, her loving mother Margaret Wright Ingram, and sisters Barbara "Bobbie" Locklear and her husband Earl, Elizabeth "Beth" Strickland and her husband Barry, and Lou Anne "Anne" Priest and her husband Melvin all of Laurinburg. Cindy also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856 with Pastor Ralph Brown officiating. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Laurel Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cindy's name to the Autism (Camp Royal) Society of North Carolina, 505 Oberlin Rd Suite , 230, Raleigh, NC 27605 or to the Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
