She had served as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Secretary, choir leader and the women's ministry president. Without hesitation, she assisted in any area of need, for example, she had a treasured talent for quilting by hand and she helped to create memorable quilts that were desired by many in the community as well as dependably assisted with her church's annual ingathering and preparing savory meals as the need arose.
