LAURINBURG — Franklin "Frank" Roosevelt Watson, age 80 of Laurinburg passed away on June 21, 2015.

Funeral services will be noon Thursday at East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church with entombment following in Richmond County Memorial Park.

Frank was a son of the late Willard and Lillie Sessoms Watson born in Scotland County on July 11, 1934. He was a retired automobile salesman and a North Carolina licensed funeral director. He was a longtime faithful member of the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon. Frank loved to wheel and deal with people and always strived to help others. His favorite time was that spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Pate Watson; brother, James Watson and sisters, Anna W. Cribb and Mildred Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda W. Watson of the home in Laurinburg; his children, Greg Watson (Diana) of Laurinburg, Stanley Watson (Robin) of Laurinburg, Tony Watson of Lumberton, Sharon Wallace (Ronnie) of Laurinburg and Susan Wallwork (Steve) of Hope Mills; stepsons, David Willoughby (Sheila) of Mebane and Billy Willoughby of Bladenboro; a brother, Willard Watson Jr., of Rockingham; sisters Pomilee Watson of Raeford and Ola Mae Harvey of Rockingham; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

Memorial donations are requested to be given in Frank's memory to the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1046, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
