LAURINBURG — Mrs. Grace Watts Moore, 84, passed away on July 30, 2015 at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium Chapel followed by burial in Hillside Memorial Park.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1931 in Scotland County to the late Dewey and Ella Carter Watts. She was the widow of Jerry L. Moore, Sr. USMC. Mrs. Moore was a member of East Laurinburg Baptist Church, Growing Friendship Club, and East Laurinburg Seniors Club. She loved her family above all else, enjoyed traveling and life in general.

Mrs. Moore leaves behind to cherish her memory her son J. L. "Skip" Moore (Victoria) of Atlanta, Georgia, her daughter Gina Moore of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, her sister Geraldine W. Simpson of Laurinburg, her brothers Grady Watts (Mary) of Conyers, Georgia and Gilbert Watts (Gilda) of Stuart, Florida, grandchildren Jerry Lee Moore III (Erin) of Atlanta, Lane Moore Green (Shaine) of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Blake Moore (Andy Dannenbaum), and great-grandchildren Kameron Ann Green and Stirling Grace Moore of Atlanta.

She was also "Nana" to four grand-dogs: "Bo," "Bogie," "Gracie Lee," and "Trixie."

Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her son, Alex Moore, brother George Watts and great-granddaughter Anabelle Lee Moore.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium.
