WAGRAM — Mrs. Martha Lee Jackson Locklear, age 87 of Wagram passed away on July 2, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Cherokee Chapel Church Cemetery.

Martha was born June 28, 1929 in Scotland County, a loving daughter of the late Walter and Lula Jackson. She was the devoted wife to the late Edmond Locklear, who passed away in 1974. She was a devoted homemaker and retired from the House of Raeford after many years of service. She enjoyed working in her yard and truly loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by daughters Barbara Locklear and Ruthy Lee Locklear.

She is survived by her sons, Edmond Locklear Jr. of Wagram, Terry Wayne Locklear and wife Teresa of Wagram and Robert M. Locklear and Ronald Lee Locklear, both of the home; her daughters Geraldine Pierce and husband Ron of Raeford, Bethenny Chavis and husband Phillip of Red Springs, Mildred Locklear of Red Springs; sisters, Helen Locklear of Fayetteville and Madie Locklear of Laurinburg; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
