GIBSON — Nikki Michelle Hatcher Locklear, 43, of Gibson passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at Scotland Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

Nikki was a loving daughter of Wilbert Henry "Buster" Hatcher, Sr., and the late Belinda Johnnie Boyd Hatcher born April 18, 1974 in Richmond County. She was a loving homemaker and worked in textiles for Burlington Industries.

She loved serving as a member of the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church where she enjoyed singing. Nikki was a dreamer and always shared her beautiful smile with others. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Jamie Kevin Locklear of the home in Gibson; sons, Jessie Miller of Laurel Hill; Zachary Fore (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, Fla.; Matt Locklear of Laurinburg; daughters, Courtney Medlin (Anthony) of Laurel Hill; Tiffany Fore of Laurinburg; her father, W.H. "Buster" Hatcher, Sr., (Sandra) of Duncanville, Texas; brothers, W.H. "Will" Hatcher, Jr., (Lisa) of Wilmington; Bobby Bass of Laurel Hill; a sister, Marie Hatcher Hodges of Rockingham; and her seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 at the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church. A private interment will be held at a later date.
