ALBANY, Ga. — Pattie Sue Dabbs McCaskill, 76, of Albany, Georgia, died Nov. 16, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today at Byrne Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Internment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McCaskill was born in Hamlet and grew up in Laurinburg. She graduated from Scotland High School and attended Albany Junior College and moved to Albany in 1960 with her late husband, Bill McCaskill.

Mrs. McCaskill was employed with Southern Bell Telephone Company with more than 30 years of service. She was a very active member of Byrne Memorial Baptist Church where she attended the Deaf Department Sunday School Class, The Happy Hearts, WOM Group and served as an interpreter for the Deaf Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, John David Dabb and Bertha Dabbs, and a brother, J.D. Dabbs, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Site and her husband Walter and two grandchildren, Wesley Site and Kendall Site all of Alpharetta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
