Salvatore Francis Davi

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Salvatore Francis Davi, lovingly called "Lil-Sal" passed away at the age of 52 on March 12, 2016 at his home.

Lil-Sal was born April 2, 1963 in New York, N.Y., a precious and loving son of Salvatore Davi and Glenda Huckabee Davi. He earned a degree from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. Formerly residing in Connecticut, he had distinguished career that incorporated the sales, management, and trading in the metal industry. He traveled extensively to many countries and was an avid reader. He also served as a Mason and with the Knights of Columbus.

He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Davi, grandparents Salvatore and Sophie Davi and William and Mary Huckabee and uncle Ronald Huckabee.

Surviving are his parents Salvatore "Big-Sal" Davi and Glenda H. Davi of Myrtle Beach, his children Andrew Davi, Salvatore "Sammy" Davi, and Joanna Davi, sister Sophia D. Jacobs (Jeffery) of Myrtle Beach, uncles William Huckabee (Karen), Buster Davi (Pat) and Frank Davi, special goddaughter Elizabeth Mineri, niece Annie Mineri, nephew Michael Mineri, his cousins, and many special friends.

A celebration of life memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Richard Boles Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Kenneth Blease. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given in Salvatore's memory to Northview Harvest Ministries, P.O. Box 1497, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
