ABERDEEN — Tina Ann McMillan, 49, of Aberdeen, formerly of Maxton departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.

Tina was born August 18, 1967 a loving daughter to Roger and Barbara McMillan of Robeson County. She was a graduate from West Robeson High School in the Class of 1985. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandsons, Grayson and Dawson, and traveling with the love of her life, Dr. John Smid.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger McMillan and her precious grandparents, Varser and Martha Bullard.

Tina leaves behind her beloved partner of eight years, Dr. John Smid; two daughters, Ms. Bridgett N. Phillips (Ryan Pierce), of Laurinburg; and Ms. Kasey D. Phillips of Maxton; two grandsons, Grayson Ray Phillips and Dawson Blaine Runnels; her mother and step-father, Mr. Brantley and Barbara Locklear, of Maxton; brother, Roderick McMillan (Christina) of Maxton; sisters, Vanessa Revels (Tony), of Red Springs; Mary Locklear of Maxton; a special aunt, Debbie Locklear, of Maxton and a host of loving family and friends.

A private family service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
