LAUREL HILL — Wanda Gail Roller, 68, passed away on Jan. 1, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Dwayne Powers. Burial will follow in Laurinburg Memorial Park.

Wanda was born on July 23, 1947, a daughter of the late Henry and Christine Jackson and she was the foster daughter of Reese Butler and the late Margaret Chavis Butler. She retired from Abbott Laboratories after many years of service. She attended New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She loved the family times at the beach fishing. She was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves and a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan. She was devoted to her family and was most happy when she was doing for others.

She was preceded in death by her sister Martha Roller Chavis, brother-in-law Zeb Edward Chavis, and foster brother Richard D. Butler.

Wanda is survived by her foster parent Reese D. Butler of Laurel Hill, brother James "Buddy" Roller and wife Irene, sister Patricia Roller Blake and husband Eddie both of Bennettsville, South Carolina, foster siblings Gary R. Butler and wife Terri of Marion, South Carolina, James A. Butler and wife Linda of Florence, South Carolina, and Margaret "Lolo" Sessoms and husband Mike of Laurel Hill, special sisters-in-law Susan A. Butler and LuWayne C. Butler both of Laurinburg and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
