GIBSON — Lucille Prevatte Hardee, 73, passed away on Aug. 12, 2014 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gibson.
Lucille was born on May 10, 1941 in Scotland County, daughter to the late Henry Prevatte and Wilma Guinn Stubbs. She was a homemaker and textile worker retiring from JP Stevens, Inc., after many years of service. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her entire family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Billie Christine Crabtree and Bobby Eugene Prevatte.
Lucille is survived by her daughters Tammy Rodriguez of Laurinburg and Lynn Gashaw (Larry) of Rockingham, brothers Clyde Edward Prevatte (Diane) of Laurinburg and Henry Stubbs (Barb) and Luther "Bobby" Stubbs (Cheryl) both of Santee, S.C., sisters Elizabeth Dunn of Laurinburg, Elsie Mae Stubbs of Rockingham, and Brenda Mae Stubbs of Indiana, five grandchildren: Christopher Polston, Kaitlynn Taylor, Jeremy Rodriguez, Brianna Gaddy, and Grayson Gashaw, two great-grandchildren: Brantley Wallace and Alisa Critcher, and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
