HERBERT TEPPER
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS for Mr. Herbert Tepper, 90, of Hattiesburg. He died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Tepper was retired from the automobile business and was a member of the Jewish faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving in the 743rd Tank Battalion in the Battle of the Bulge, a 32nd degree Mason with the Home Lodge in Van Nuys, CA, and the Al Malaikah Shriners of Los Angeles, CA.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jason Tepper; and parents, Herman and Helen Kapner Tepper. He is survived by his wife, Judith Hilbun Tepper of Hattiesburg, MS; a son, Jordan Hilbun Tepper of Hattiesburg, MS; a sister, Gerry Leibowitz of Camarillo, CA; two nieces, Andrea Bettleman of Beverly Hills, CA and Randi Smetana of Studio City, CA.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS (601-582-1571).
