Not sure what to say?

I knew Veronica through Soroptimist. She was once of the classiest ladies that I have ever met. While both serving on the board and sitting at the head table, she asked me why I was not eating my vegetables and was instrumental in getting me to eat them. I now love vegetables.
On another occasion Veronica, her husband Bill and I were all on the same cruise with Soroptimist. Veronica and her husband were not going to get off the ship and see Ensenada because pushing the wheel chair for that far was too hard on her. I offered to push the wheel chair and had one of the most wonderful days of my life spent with these too. The stories Bill told about coming to this country and starting his bakery have stayed with me forever. Veronica will be missed my many.

What a wonderful friend was Veronica! She graced every Soroptimist even with her love and her smile. We traveled together many times to Soroptimist Village in Norwalk, which was a great opportunity for me to know her as a friend as well as a fellow Soroptimist. May she rest in peace, and spread her love to all who have gone before her.

Regretfully, Wayne and I only knew Veronica, for a short time, not nearly long enough. She was a most kind and gracious lady always with a smile and a warm welcoming word for everyone. We feel privileged to have known her and to know her son Ron. We will miss her.

Ms. Thee welcomed me into her home, heart and family during the time that I had spent with her as her Caregiver. She was a loving, kind and giving person, and because she was, I had welcomed her into my heart, God had welcomed her into His family, and Heaven has welcomed her into its home. RIP Ms. Thee. I was blessed to have known you and will miss you dearly.

What a woman of faith, patriotism and priinciples! And she did it all with a smile on her face and a welcoming heart. She lived her life of service fully to the end. She will be missed and remembered by everyone who knew her. My parents so valued your friendship, and we appreciated being partners with you in our Tahoe getaway. Thanks for being in our lives Veronica.

Veronica will most surely be missed at our ARWC functions. Her beautiful smile greeted us each month at the reservation table for our meetings. She graciously welcomed each attendee. A truly wonderful person who will be very much missed.

Our most vivid and enduring memory will always be our good fortune to share with Veronica and Ron the music of the California Symphony Orchestra in the outdoor splendor of the Arboretum. Most enjoyable of all was Veronica's warmth and generosity of spirit and that wonderful relationship between mother and son. There can be no greater testimony to a life well-lived.

We will miss Veronica. We enjoyed sitting next to her at several dinners, as well as luncheons, both of the Pasadena Republican Party and Arcadia Republicans, Inc. (This includes a campaign event at the Thee residence, itself.) We also saw Veronica and her son Ron at the recent ARI bingo event. Veronica was always a sympathetic presence. We will miss her. Unfortunately, due to a previously scheduled Alaska cruise, we will be unable to attend her memorial service except in spirit. She is now in heaven, and we look forward to some day visit with her again. Love, Sharon and Dirk

Veronica,
always had a smile on her face, and a good heart. Helped me through my years as a new member of ARWC. Helped me with words of comfort, educated me to ways of the club. Always made me feel welcome at her home, at meetings, or even running into her at the store. A terrific lady I will miss, but will think of often and always smile when I do.

Dearest Mom,

You were the light of my life. Heaven is a brighter place with you now. As you would often say, "Each golden minute is made more precious with a smile."

I love you so much, Ron

Veronica Delores Thee was not just my rock, not just my mentor, not just my friend. But, thank God, she was my mother! I cared for her daily needs for over 20 years. Now it's the Lord's turn.

I'm reminded of public speaker Zig Ziglar, who once said,
"We hear tears loudly on this side of heaven. What we don't take time to contemplate are the even louder cheers on the other side of death's valley."

Rest in peace my sweet lady.
Your loving son, Ron
