Carol Johnson

October 22, 1940 - February 17, 2013

Carol Johnson, affectionately called Nana by almost all who knew her, passed away peacefully this past Sunday surrounded by her family including her husband of 30 years, Larry Johnson who never left her side.

Nana was born in South Lebanon, Ohio to parents Philip Henson and Beverly Bradley. She had two brothers, Jack and Bill, who both preceded her in death, a younger sister, Sweetie, five children (Gary, Bev, Mark, Scott, and Joy) as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.

A resident of the Valley for nearly 50 years, when she wasn't watching Fox News, Nana loved shopping at Macy's and lunches with her kids. But nothing made her happier than trips to Disneyland with her grandkids and great grand kids and weekend trips to Vegas with her husband who she adored.

Services will be held this Friday, February 22 as follows: Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary Chapel; Service 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at Mission Hills Community Church; Graveside Service 2:00 p.m., at Mission Hills Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Carol's name can be made to: Queen of Hearts Foundation at in support of Ovarian Cancer Research..
