Irene Weaver


Irene, 104, was taken to be with the Lord, December 28, 2013, in Van Nuys, CA. She was born September 3, 1909 in Cobden, IL, to William G. and Flora M. Culp and moved to Santa Monica, CA, in 1935. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, one sister, her husband, two daughters and a granddaughter.

Irene was employed by Wen Mac, then Testors, for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Santa Monica where she was active for over 50 years. Irene was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Even though she is in the loving arms of God, she will be missed by everyone. Irene is survived by her son-in-law, Geoffrey Noland of Van Nuys; grandchildren, William Noland of Lancaster, Michelle Ventimiglia of Van Nuys and Glenn Wornack of Susanville, and their spouses, all of California; nine great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held January 6, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Mortuary Hollywood Hills. Burial at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Officiating was Reverend Gary Ventimiglia.
