Rosie Casillas(1942 - 2014)

Rosie (Lopez) Casillas was born in Pico Rivera and was raised in South El Monte, eventually moving to Azusa in 1973 where she remained and raised her family. She worked as an aide for the Azusa USD at Valleydale School for 27 years and enjoyed knowing each child she met during her time there.

Rosie is survived by her sister, Annie (Lopez) Garcia, as well as her children: Michael, Nancy, Richard, and Sandra Casillas; grandchildren Michael Casillas, Jr., Alyssa Pule, Briana Casillas, Michelle Berrios, Desirae Pule, Jasmin Casillas, Amanda Casillas, Jaime Pule, Julian Casillas, Richard L. Casillas, Raymond Casillas, Teresa Casillas, Isaiah Stigall, Joseph Casillas, Jazlynn Casillas; and great grandchildren Aalyiah Casillas, Adrian Casillas, and Aubriella Casillas.

Services will be held on April 12, at 9 am at Rose Hills Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier. A reception, TBA, will follow.
