ALEXANDRO V. CALZADA
Passed away at 77 years of age on February 26, 2013. He died peacefully with his wife, Hipolita, by his side.
Alexandro was born and raised in East Los Angeles. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Alexandro worked as an Electrical Mechanic for the L.A. Department of Water and Power. Alexandro and Hipolita were married for 57 years. He is survived by his wife and four children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Alexandro was a humble man whose purpose in life was to ensure his family's happiness and comforts. A purpose we can say he not only achieved but went beyond. He had a loving and caring heart and will be missed by all that knew him, especially by his family. May the Lord Bless him for being so good to us, words will never express how much he was loved by us all.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, 1:00 p.m., at Mission San Fernando, Mission Hills, CA. Immediately followed by burial at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
