Anthony Webster (Tony, Sr.) Haynes passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his home of 51 years in La Canada Flintridge, CA. He was a 77 year Chevy Chase Canyon, La Canada Valley resident. He grew up in Glendale, CA, attended
Glendale High, Palos Verde Jr. College and USC. During his lifetime, he served in the US Navy Reserves, was President of Glendale Toast Masters, and was involved in Republican politics, UROC and LCF Republican Club.
After retiring from the food brokerage business, he spent his time watching his grandkids play sports, playing golf (8 holes in one!), volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and working in his beloved yard. Most of all, he loved talking with people and will be missed for his gift of gab.
Tony is survived by his wife Annie of 55 years, sons Tony Jr., Austen and Stuart Haynes, brother Robert, 5 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
