Weisenberg, Barbara "Joanne"

Barbara "Joanne" Weisenberg, born to James & Loretta Davis on December 18th, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois, passed away at home on January 10, 2014 in San Marino, CA surrounded by her loving family after a valiant fight with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gene; children Jim (Patti) of Pasadena, Ellen (Justin) of Monrovia and Robert (Anne) of Woodbridge; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother, Patrick Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jody, as her grandchildren called her, came with her parents from Decatur, Illinois to Southern California in 1941. Eventually they settled in Alhambra where she attended St. Therese School, Ramona Convent High School and Pasadena Community College before meeting her husband Gene on a blind date arranged by their mothers. This past July they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Joanne loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18th,10:30am, at Sts. Felicitas and Perpetua Catholic Church in San Marino, CA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to the or Ramona Convent High School. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena
