81 of La Verne, CA passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013.
Born in McAllister, OK on October 2, 1931 Camie spent the majority of his life in California. Serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Camie spent 34 years in US ARMY Reserves Military Police retiring as a Colonel. Camie also served 36 years in public service with the LA County Sherriff's Department and District Attorney's Office where he retired as a Captain.
Camie leaves behind his wife of 57 years – Kathleen, a son Alan Jarvis, two daughters, Connie Carey and Pamela Jarvis, his daughter-in-law Peggy Jarvis, son-in-law Kevin Carey, four grandsons; Jason Jarvis, Casey Jarvis, Jared Carey, Andrew Carey and a granddaughter, Erin Carey. Camie is also survived by his twin brother Connie and his sister Lois Sanford. Camie also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All of whom will miss him dearly.
