Deborah Perkins was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 4, 1944 and passed away on December 28, 2013 in Pasadena, CA. Deborah was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Los Angeles, CA and earned a master's degree in speech pathology at California State University, Los Angeles. She practiced speech therapy for a few years before transitioning to motherhood and managing her husband's dental practice for more than thirty years. She is survived by her husband of over 49 years Dr. Lawrence F. Perkins of Pasadena, her daughter Katherine Garrett (Robert) of La Crescenta, her son Lawrence R. Perkins (Nichole) of Los Angeles, her
granddaughter Dagny Mae Perkins, her sister Janis Green (Marshall) of Whittier, her sister-in-law Melinda Cargill (James), her dedicated housekeeper of more than twenty years, Noemy Rodriguez, and her beloved boxer Storm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the City of Hope or the Pasadena Humane Society. Please contact the family for information regarding her memorial.
