Donald Euclid Beaudry was born July 27, 1920 in New Munich, Minnesota, and lived with his family until he was 12 years old, at which time he left the family and became a hired hand on a farm in Minnesota. Since he didn't have much of a family life as a young boy, he was determined to make certain to provide a good stable home for his own family. He reached his goal and is survived by his wife, Marion, of 60 years; his sons, Bob, Bruce, Jim and Michael; and his daughters, Donna and Denise; as well as their families including eight grandchildren. He is also survived by nephews, Paul and Carl, and their families.
Donald was a World War II veteran and after his service, settled in California working for Lockheed on aircraft for 45 years. Donald enjoyed working on cars and taught his family to maintain their vehicles. This was in line with his "waste not and save for the future" philosophy. He spent his retirement years fishing, camping and working in the family orange orchard and gardens providing family, neighbors and friends with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Thanks Dad. You will be missed and never forgotten.
Services will be held Saturday, January 26th; Viewing 8:30 a.m., Rosary 9:30 a.m., Graveside 10:30 a.m., all at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary and Cemetery. Reception will follow.
