ESTHER ELIZABETH COLEMAN
Of Burbank, CA, passed away on January 31, 2013, at the age of 91. She was formerly the assistant administrator at Windsor Manor in Glendale prior to opening her own business of Witherspoon and Associates, Inc. for nearly 20 years. She and her daughter Sharon Woody were Conservators and Fiduciaries in this business. She served her country in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps of the United States Army,
. This is where she met her husband, Buford "Jimmy" Coleman and they were married in 1943.
Esther is survived by her son Dennis Coleman, of Burbank, granddaughter Kimberly Vasquez and husband Jose, of Fresno, CA, grandson Cade Woody of San Diego, grandson Aaron Coleman of Hollywood, great granddaughter Julia Witrado, great grandsons Joshua Witrado, and Julian Coleman, her "special" daughter Hope Boyd and husband Bob, all of Fresno, CA, "special" granddaughter Kelly Wasnick and her husband Randy, "special" great grandsons Keaton and Kestin Wasnick all of Visalia, CA, sister Ruth Stephens and nephew Dale Stephens, of Sunland, CA, niece Sandy Rolof of Boise, Idaho, brother John Witherspoon and nephew Walter Witherspoon of Lancaster, CA, and many great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother Walter Calvin Witherspoon, her parents Calvin and Elizabeth Witherspoon, her husband of 50 years Jimmy Coleman, and her daughters, infant Lavonna Sue Coleman and Sharon Woody. Esther is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
Services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Visitation from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. and graveside service at 3:00 p.m.
