HARRY FURNALD Obituary

(1923 - 2010) Harry Furnald, 87, loving husband, caring father, wonderful grandfather and great grandfather died peacefully at home on September 24, 2010. He was born on May 27, 1923 in Nebraska. Harry graduated from El Monte High School and was a long-time resident of Baldwin Park. He enjoyed coaching, playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was a Navy Veteran in WWII. Harry is survived by his wife, Wynona Furnald of Baldwin Park; daughter, Donna (Danny) Wice of Mariposa, CA; daughter Vicki (Ron) Wilson of Show Low, Arizona; daughter-in-law Kathy Furnald (Don preceded Harry in death) of Rancho Cucamonga ; brother-in-law Dick (Dot) Libring; nieces and nephews, Carol, Steve, Debbie and Stacy; grand- children, Brian (Jennifer) Wilson, Michelle(Darren) Warrick, Bret Wice, Erin (Scott) Clark, Donald L. (Karla) Furnald, Kimberly Furnald; great-grand- children, Ashlynn , Caitlinn, Tanner Clark, Ashlee and Kaylee Warrick; McKenna , Justin, Bryson (preceeded Harry in death) Wilson, Jacob and Lauren Furnald. We will always remember him and be thankful that he was in our lives. Funeral services and burial will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, September 28 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 S. Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA.

Marlon Jackson and Family want express our condolences to the Furnald Family on the passing of, Mr. Harry Furnald. He was always great fun at Donnie's baseball games and his number 1 fan.He epitomized what any young person would want in a grandfather.We will miss his smile and warm greeting. God be with him.
