JOSEPH PAUL TAURO

1947-2010 Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, passed away September 11, 2010 in Simi Valley, California. Joe was born August 11, 1947, at Wilshire Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Culver City High School in 1965 and worked for 40 years as a Facility Manager at Voi-Shan, Fairchild and Alcoa Aerospace Industry. He was preceded in death by his mother, "Honey" Smith. Joe is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gail; his children Troy and Candy Tauro, Miko and James Riley, Ryan and Jen Tauro and Katie and Ben Humphries. He was "Papa Joe" to his six granddaughters, Jade, Avery, Grace, Autumn, Chloe and Maddy; his brother, John Tauro; his sisters Carole, Bonnie and Kathy; and his nephews and nieces. A memorial will be held at Maravilla Gardens, 8620 Santa Rosa Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012, on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. This will be an outside ceremony; dress will be casual.
