DePASQUALE, Lawrence Michael

Lawrence Michael DePasquale Sr., 79, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Rowland Convalescent Home in West Covina, California. Mr. DePasquale was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 1, 1933 of the late Daniel DePasquale Sr. and Angelina (LeBernardo) DePasquale.

Lawrence leaves behind his three sons, Lawrence DePasquale Jr. and his wife Lynnett of Columbia, SC, Glenn DePasquale Sr. of Westport, CT, James DePasquale and his wife Amy of Norwalk, CT, three siblings, Daniel DePasquale Jr. of Norfolk, NE, John DePasquale Sr., Barbara Murgia both of Niagara Falls, NY. He also leaves behind five grandchildren Glenn DePasquale Jr., Lauren DePasquale, Laura (DePasquale) Stewart, Julia DePasquale, Jenna DePasquale, one great grandchild Skarlet Montalvo and many nieces and nephews. Lawrence is predeceased by his two brothers Richard DePasquale, David DePasquale and his beautiful baby daughter Angela Marie.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Mr. DePasquale was one of six children. After graduating Niagara Falls High School in 1951, he like many of his brothers joined the Army and served in the Korean War before being Honorably Discharged. After his service to his country, Mr. DePasquale served in the Army Reserves for many years while he worked in the construction / home improvement industry in Niagara Falls, NY then ultimately moved to California where he worked in the trades for most of his life.

Mr. DePasquale enjoyed reading, painting, bowling and dancing. He received many metals, ribbons and accolades in competitive dancing through his senior years.

Mr. DePasquale will be cremated in accordance with his wishes with a memorial service to be held at the Addleman Funeral Home on 11338 Valley Blvd., El Monte, California on Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Mr. DePasquale will be put to rest with his parents and daughter at St. Joseph's cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY.
